Amid the peak holiday shopping season, many consumers are turning to online stores for their shopping convenience. Whereas, before customers expected free returns, some retailers may now tell customers to keep the unwanted items while still providing a refund. According to Reuters, 59% of major retailers have adopted "return-less refunds" or "keep it" policies, as reported by return logistics company goTRG. While economically beneficial for retailers, they may be hesitant to publicize such policies.
