Happy (Product) Returns

In response to a rise in return rates in 2023, 87% of merchants have begun charging for returns. Amazon is leading this change by introducing fees and marking high-return products. This shift aims to mitigate financial and environmental costs, highlighted by 9.5 billion pounds of returns in landfills in 2022. goTRG's data reveals that 59% of retailers are now adopting "keep it" policies for less valuable items to reduce return costs and environmental impact.
